Cold World 02:55
I got a question: What's the standard of justice? Unless I miss my guess Yours justifies any action against any supremacist So then I gotta ask how you define that In case you label me as one, assuming without the facts Now, this a problem that I never thought I'd face Still I look it in the eye, so it's time to set it straight 'Cause when they generalize, they make me the bad guy Even when evidence ain't materialized In my case. I can't justify others Who clearly hate with no cause, but try to cover up a feeling Once accepted, but some thought we moved past Others say not, and instead we backtracked They might think I'm like anyone else, but I am not them Never was, I can learn not to repeat again But they don't want to hear it. I swear that they're obsessed Judging children, for what the fathers all commit One cold town, to one cold city To one cold state, to one cold country To one cold world. It don't get colder than One cold world. But it started with One cold town, to one cold city To one cold state, to one cold country To one cold world. It don't get colder than One cold world. It don't get colder man As more lost history is revealed Feelings start to emerge, potentially blur what is real And I start to wonder what my friends think about me Wonder who they listening to, shaping their mentality Hope they don't disown me, man I never thought I'd fear Resentment of this magnitude making itself clear Some say that we don't care. Don't put me in that lump sum I'm just as saddened as you by the outcome But realize there's no logical way to deny The fallen condition that still resides inside The hearts of all men. Now they can call it something else But a rose is still a rose so this problem gotta be dealt Some know and been trying to find the right way to go Some try to perfect it while others just let it flow I submit that both sides are incorrect A hardened heart only changes once it's been wrecked. One cold town, to one cold city To one cold state, to one cold country To one cold world. It don't get colder than One cold world. But it started with One cold town, to one cold city To one cold state, to one cold country To one cold world. It don't get colder than One cold world. It don't get colder man

Suppression 02:36
A mind state instilled, decency distilled The will of the majority, intent to kill hope In all the targeted races. Keep their faces From appearing outside designated lands Keep places well out of reach by means of paces Should they penetrate treat 'em as outcasts and vagrants Only because they born of another race Like it's some grave mistake that they see fit to erase Yet convince everyone that they ain't racist But tell 'em it's the way that society is changing Keepin' 'em at the bottom, making the top Seem insurmountable, so failure turns their heart rotten Now they got 'em right where they want 'em: Legally free, but never in society The longer they can't see, the greater their success The greater chance they will have in their conquest You can't fool all the people all of the time At some point the blinders will fall from their eyes They will look around and see that they're oppressed And they will rise up, no longer be suppressed You can't fool all the people all of the time At some point the blinders will fall from their eyes They will look around and see that they're oppressed And they will rise up, no longer be suppressed Now I've seen the plan work But I've seen the other side - they ain't holed up in church They got some other ideas, so it's safe to say Violence has taken over, for lack of better ways Honestly, what else have they got? We didn't invest in them enough to move on beyond the block So they act like they won't. I'd like it if they could But everything I see around them ain't very good Observe their families, observe their leaders, their teachers Who couldn't care less. All these features Produce a sum not equaled in the 'burbs Well... I'll admit that's a guess but I'm pretty sure What I've listed are variables in the equation And we're starting to see the powder keg reach detonation Were you unaware before you stumbled on this? History will look back and verify we were remiss You can't fool all the people all of the time At some point the blinders will fall from their eyes They will look around and see that they're oppressed And they will rise up, no longer be suppressed You can't fool all the people all of the time At some point the blinders will fall from their eyes They will look around and see that they're oppressed And they will rise up, no longer be suppressed

I'm a connoisseur of fine rhymes Patient when it's fermenting, I know it takes time To make a product that'll really age well Constantly rotating like a dog that chased his own tail I've seen 'em fail tryna rush the process Fruits of our labor come from the fruits we harvest We peel the skin off, and use the juice To produce the freshest brew that you ever put your lips too - what? They say it ain't authentic with machines? I simply say you don't know what authentic means You've been blinded by what you've seen You neglect the new harvest and the styles that are gleaned And don't realize that the liquid you drinkin' has been distilled This is real stuff - not the bootleg from the sill I guess they thinkin' this is run of the mill No matter how hard we work in the field, they always will They crush the grapes to make wine, we stretch our mind to craft rhymes The harvest of the vineyard shall be made known in due time Waiting for years before we take the first sip of the drink The result of continually putting down words in ink They crush the grapes to make wine, we stretch our mind to craft rhymes The harvest of the vineyard shall be made known in due time Waiting for years before we take the first sip of the drink The result of continually putting down words in ink

They say they search for a savior But their motives don't lie in righteous behavior Only one eternal, while they look in the temporal Time reveals the futile efforts conceived by the mortal A new idea, a new trend, same failure A new voice, the same question, wrong answer The same facts, & yet different conclusions Confusion abounds in multitudes of solutions executed & I'm forced to witness the backlash Watching people willingly create or partake in the aftermath After the roots have fully sunk in They like leaves starting to bloom before blowing in the wind Mindlessly, unknowingly trained subconsciously Honestly, I feel I'm alone in this dichotomy Standing on the other side knowing I shouldn't go there But they want to determine my fate, & they don't care So I'm in a fight, tryna defend my right To think freely while they flexin' they might. They got Strength in number, but it'll all come asunder 'Cause it can't hold to the doctrine taught by the Sons of Thunder Welcome to the haunted world It gets scary watching everything unfold I don't want to look, but I ain't got a choice But I got a voice to fight back the noise Welcome to the haunted world It gets scary watching everything unfold I don't want to look, but I ain't got a choice But I got a voice to fight back the noise They say they search for a savior But their motives don't lie in righteous behavior Only one eternal, while they look in the temporal Time reveals the futile efforts conceived by the mortal They say this the post-modern age As atheists take the role of the sage Gladly dropping wisdom for a price They say all should pay to get further in life We inducted into the halls to get indoctrinated Presuming they wouldn't lie - we may not be mistaken Because they chose what to believe as the truth But any contradictions instantly serve to refute So I want to know why nature isn't relative Subjecting us all to the same laws which tell us how to live And you saying that we products of environment But nature never changes a thing, so I ain't buying it when You try to tell me that truths are relative to who's Posing the question of what's ethical to do If we're really products of nature, and that's your starting point Nature also created philosophy - one order coined Welcome to the haunted world It gets scary watching everything unfold I don't want to look, but I ain't got a choice But I got a voice to fight back the noise Welcome to the haunted world It gets scary watching everything unfold I don't want to look, but I ain't got a choice But I got a voice to fight back the noise But underneath a twisted system Lies a hidden motive not admitted to the victims But they accept it quick, 'cause it's in our nature to resist The Creator of everything in existence You may have noticed but perhaps haven't identified A break from the morals that kept this nation solidified Supposedly - that statement's never hundred percent accurate When men try to credit God for all of their accomplishments On the other side of the spectrum How quickly we forgettin' history's lessons Thinkin' we can answer the questions Like we wrote the textbook ourselves The devil don't exist? Nah, he's playing us well I know that one day his reign will come to an end Until then, I gotta fight with my right to defend The truth, learn the lies so I can refute with proof On the chance the insanity no longer continues Welcome to the haunted world It gets scary watching everything unfold I don't want to look, but I ain't got a choice But I got a voice to fight back the noise Welcome to the haunted world It gets scary watching everything unfold I don't want to look, but I ain't got a choice But I got a voice to fight back the noise

Everybody says she's hot, but 'cause they think so? Or cause of the way she fits society's mold? Or is it for that reason they define what they're seeing As a symbol of satisfaction instinctively once perceiving Has begun? Are they so accustomed to this process They've agreed to let its intricacies mess with their subconscious To the point where they don't see her as a human anymore? Where they treat her like a game, and they're aiming to score? Well that is not what she is But both parties told differently the identity's mixed Inside of a new program, loaded into the mind Training it to see her as part of a different kind But keep the hormones in check and maybe you will see They've been programed to react to artificial beauty And despise she who don't meet the standards It's the wrong question in the first place they want answered All that you see is flesh that covers bones That holds the soul of a broken individual If I break it down, there's nothing that ain't typical But you don't even know why you want to get physical The implications go deeper than you may have thought Another side to this trap in which many caught Victims distraught when they don't realize who they are And who exactly it is that's saying "Raise the bar" Trying hard to impress and get approval But can the soul handle the stress of being beautiful? Though the standards approved are superficial It's not unusual to see them met by the dutiful Who seem scared of anything not sexual No chance at making relationships sustainable When there's the fear of not being up to par Enhanced through pop culture, propagated by superstars & What might be inside, we will never see As long as we condone perversions of reality It's like God's saying "Let my daughters free" As Pharaoh turns a profit off this mental slavery All that you see is flesh that covers bones That holds the soul of a broken individual If I break it down, there's nothing that ain't typical But you don't even know why you want to get physical All that you see is flesh that covers bones That holds the soul of a broken individual If I break it down, there's nothing that ain't typical But you don't even know why you want to get physical No blurred lines, no 50 shades of grey Once you realize, she wasn't made for play There are real lies, but let the truth get on display She is more valuable than they say

Runnin' 03:14
If we die in our faith, we win The Gospel won't be stopped because you put us in a coffin Blood we may be coughin' but God is still faithful His Word never comes back void 'cause He is able He heard Able crying from the ground And He heard the martyrs when they gathered all around Clothed them all in white, then promised He would judge them On the earth for the sake of the ones who followed Him Not loving their lives unto death They are truly conquerors who didn't waste their breath Tryna argue points of doctrine not detrimental in the least I guess there ain't time when you hunted by the beast But if we die in our faith, we win We can't run without dying to the sin within We can't go the right path until we focus on the way We may be living now, but our best life ain't today Runnin' to the cross, then runnin' for the cross If we stand still, we're the ones who suffer loss If we press on, and we choose to count the cost Our hope will be revealed and overshadow what we've lost Runnin' to the cross, then runnin' for the cross If we stand still, we're the ones who suffer loss If we press on, and we choose to count the cost Our hope will be revealed and overshadow what we've lost They don't understand who we runnin' to But I swear they scared, 'cause they tried all the substitutes They don't want righteousness, they want a valid excuse Philosophy keeps 'em doing what they do But fails to be the glue to uphold the construction So the trends been to redesign the main function Each time getting further away from the answer It's your guess what's next when they treat morals like cancer But I believe in absolute truth Sounds kinda taboo when this society follows clues That lead in the wrong direction but straight toward their pursuits While those who walk the straight & narrow are accompanied by few But we know where we heading while they hope for an outcome That's never been accomplished - man, it just can't be done History repeats on a chord of failure While history's author sent His Son to be the answer Runnin' to the cross, then runnin' for the cross If we stand still, we're the ones who suffer loss If we press on, and we choose to count the cost Our hope will be revealed and overshadow what we've lost Runnin' to the cross, then runnin' for the cross If we stand still, we're the ones who suffer loss If we press on, and we choose to count the cost Our hope will be revealed and overshadow what we've lost If we die in our faith, we win But do we really believe that when we die is when we begin? Got a church that seems to forget what it was made for Now focusing pursuits in the temporal realm evermore But I guess that's more tangible Than the unseen - so why they live like animals? And I watch greed consume the self-proclaimed righteous While they rule their church like a cult with an iron-tight fist There's too many pacifists when it comes to this But I'ma let God be the judge of all of your accomplishments Did you forget that there's a limit to His patience? It's greater than a man's, but the sum of the equation Is judgment without a variable of repentance Yet grace trumps the law if man makes his point of reference A Rock stronger than the one of Gibraltar Lays his burden at the altar, and falls flat, but never falters
